East Carolina University PPCM Study
PPCM Study information:
East Carolina University has partnered with leading medical institutions to study quality of life issues in women diagnosed with Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM). Our team of physicians and researchers has developed the Peripartum Cardiomyopathy Quality of Life Registry (PC-QoL Registry) to help medical professionals learn more about women’s long-term physical and emotional needs after diagnosis of PPCM. By understanding women’s perspectives on their health, social support and psychological needs, we can develop comprehensive programs to assist patients and their loved ones in their recovery.
One of the main goals of this study is to reach out and ask women about the experiences and challenges they faced related to their recovery from PPCM. We want to give women a voice to tell us what they need so that we can develop resources specifically made for pregnant /post-partum women with heart failure.
- Participation is voluntary and will take 20 minutes or less.
- Your responses are 100% private and no identifying information is required to participate.
- You can participate by completing a confidential survey through our secure website. Many women have already participated, now you can too!
